A leaping goat di Olive Lee

Hong Kong

There are twelve Zodiac signs in Hong Kong and my year of birth represents "the Year of Goat". Traditionally, we believe our own sign and it represents oneself's personality. I want to show a dynamic and aesthetic goat by using bright color (red) and its movement(leaping forward).

在香港，我們有十二生肖的說法，不同的出生年份代表不同的生肖，共十二個。我的生肖是羊，而羊不同的性格亦能代表我自己。山羊比較敏捷，我想透過山羊跳躍的動作來表達牠的美與動感。

Hi, I'm Olive from Hong Kong. I like sustainable architecture and design.I'm currently preparing for my second degree in Architecture. I want to focus on wooden architecture in the future which is inspired by my father who is a carpenter. I love wood because it can make me feel calm and relax. In my spare time, I like doing calligraphy (both Chinese and Western styles) and stuff with papers. :)
The thoughts behind my work is to represent myself in a calm and comfortable feeling. It would be awesome if my designs could inspire others to think more possibilities.

你們好，我是來自香港的Olive. 我很喜歡可持續建築和設計，我現正準備申請入讀建築系。因為我爸爸是一名木匠，我自小就很喜歡木這種讓人感到很平靜和舒服的材質，而且木建築對於環境的傷害較少，因此我希望將來能專注於發展木建築及更多可持續建築。我平日喜愛書法，不論是毛筆或鋼筆，亦很喜歡剪紙及用紙做不同的手作。:)
我的想法是希望透過作品表達自己的一些想法，並希望能安撫別人，讓人感到平靜。如別人能從我的作品中得到一絲的啟發，我會覺得很開心。
