Felt Balls di Nasreen Ahmad

India

I imagined a bunch of colored “felt balls” having a different core color which were finely sliced and arranged inside a rectangle to form a pattern for carpet. Since I wanted a depiction of very thin slices, I have let a little white background show through each circle.

मैने सूक्ष्मता से कटॆ हुए अलग अलग कोर रंगों के फॆल्ट के गोलों को कालीन के लिए एक आयत पैटर्न में सजाया है. मैं बहुत पतली स्लाईसों का एक चित्रण चाहती थी, इसलिये मैने प्रत्येक चक्र के पार कुच्छ सफेद पृष्ठभूमि दिखाई देने दी है.

Sulla Nasreen Ahmad

Nasreen was born in Farakka (West Bengal), India in 1987. Having developed an interest in crafts and a passion for making things, she decided to pursue her career as a designer. She completed her bachelor’s in design from National Institute of Fashion Technology, India in 2009 and attended National Institute of Design, India to complete her masters in textile design. She has been practicing as a designer for a few years now, taking up projects related to garment construction, home furnishing and space designing. She loves to travel and adapting to new environments has always been an inspiration to develop her skills as a designer.

नसरीन 1987 में फरक्का (पश्चिम बंगाल), भारत में पैदा हुई थी. शिल्प और चीजों को बनाने के लिए एक जुनून में रुचि विकसित करने के बाद, उसनॆ एक डिजाइनर के रूप में अपने कैरियर को आगे बढ़ाने का फैसला किया. उसनॆ 2009 में नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ फॅशन टेक्नालजी, भारत, से वस्त्र डिजाइन में स्नातक पूरा कर लिया और वस्त्र डिजाइन में उसके स्नातक स्तर की पढ़ाई को पूरा करने के लिए, भारत के राष्ट्रीय डिजाइन संस्थान में भाग लिया. वह कुछ वर्षों सॆ एक डिजाइनर के रूप में अभ्यास के परिधान वस्त्र निर्माण, प्रस्तुत घर और रिक्त स्थान से संबंधित परियोजनाओं में शामिल है. वह एक यात्री है और नए वातावरण के अनुकूल ढालने में हमेशा एक डिजाइनर के रूप में अपने कौशल को विकसित करने के लिए प्रेरित रही है.
