Starfish and seashells on the bottom of the sea which always are in movement is the inspiration for this carpet. The graphical expression is typical for my designs.

Sjöstjärnor och snäckor på havets botten ständigt i rörelse, har inspirerat till denna matta. Det grafiska uttrycket är typiskt för min design.

My name is Karin Fredholm, I have studied productdesign at HDK (Högskolan för Design och Konsthantverk) in Gothenburg. I work with designing patterns,within different textile areas. Nature its the place I find my power and inspiration. My tools are usually a pair of scissors, a pencil and paper and of course watercolor. In that process I feel free to find ideas for my designs.

Mitt namn är Karin Fredholm. Jag är utbildad på HDK (Högskolan för Design och Konsthantverk) i Göteborg på produktdesign linjen. Jag jobbar bl.a. i textila material inom olika områden. Det är i naturen som jag hittar min kraft och inspiration. Mina redskap är oftast en sax, en penna och papper och gärna akvarell. Det är i den processen jag känner mig fri att hitta idéer till mina mönster.
