FINALISTI 2021 - VOTATE e VINCETE

Stripes and lines are classic elements in carpet patterns, but in this design I want to explore what happens when you do some small alterations of how a striped carpet normally looks. The “sixteen” carpet has 16 stripes of different sizes that have been just slightly moved away from their “normal” position. The result is an interesting and a bit different striped carpet that not looks so much like a striped carpet. We do not recommend that you wash the carpets by yourself.

Ränder och linjer är klassiska element i mattmönster, men i denna design vill jag utforska vad som händer om man gör några små förändringar i hur en randig matta normallt ser ut. ”Sixteen” har 16 ränder i olika storlekar som blivit lite förskjutna från sin ”normala” position. Resultatet är en intressant och lite annorlunda randig matta som inte riktigt ser ut som en randig matta.
