My picture captures a Mexican village in the afternoon sunshine. I aimed to disturb the idyllic afternoon siesta by the chaotic arrangement of shapes. I created an irregular rhythm which symbolizes life, music, colors, tastes and smells of vibrant Mexico. When creating this artwork I thought it would be a good bet to use also the complementary colors. The areas in cold color tones symbolize buildings in shade while, on the other hand, the warm color tones symbolize the parts of buildings in bright sunshine. The richness of color of the artwork reflects the temperament of this country.

Môj obrázok zachytáva mexickú dedinu v poobedňajšom slnečnom svetle. Idilu popoludňajšej siesty som chcela narušiť akoby chaotickým usporiadaním tvarov. Vytvorila som nepravidelný rytmus ktorý symbolizuje život,hudbu,farby,chute a vône pulzujúceho Mexica. Pri tvorení svojej prace som vsadila aj na komplementaritu farieb. Farebne plochy v studených odtieňoch predstavujú budovy v tieni a teple tóny zase osvetlené strany ostrým slnkom. Farebnosť diela symbolizuje temperament tejto krajiny.

My name is Sara Eperjesiova and I am 17 years old. I live in Kosice, Slovakia, where I also study at the School of Applied Arts, major in (propagacne vytvarnictvo). I am interested in painting, graphics, various art techniques and all that is connected with it. I do not consider myself to be an artist yet, but my dream is to become one.

Volám sa Sara Eperješiová mám 17 rokov a žijem na Slovensku v meste Košice.V Košiciach aj študujem na škole užitkovaného výtvarníctva.Druhý ročník na odbore propagačné výtvarníctvo. Zaujímam sa o maľbu,kresbu,grafiku,rôzne umelecké techniky aj o všetko čo je s umením spojené. Zatiaľ sa nepovažujem za umelca, ale mojím snom je stať sa ním.
